At CiC, we strongly believe that speaking with colleagues about mental health can improve your life at work and at home. When we speak to a peer we are engaging with someone who has similar experience and may be able to encourage looking at difficult situations from a different perspective.

This years’ Time to Talk Day is all about bringing together the right ingredients, to have a conversation about mental health. Whether that’s tea, biscuits and close friends or a room full of people challenging mental health stigma, the aim is to get people talking.

To mark Time to Talk Day this year, CiC hosted a ‘Bake Off’. Aside from the cakes, we will be continuing to encourage staff to open up about the difficult parts of work and home.

CiC offer a number of initiative that encourage staff to speak and break down the stigma surrounding mental health. CiC can arrange for an on-site or online presence during the month of February to offer 1-to-1 emotional wellbeing sessions and mental health awareness webinars.
